Ryder News Mar. 9, 2017

Ryder News for Mar. 9, 2017

This is going to be a rather short news column this week as I am not feeling well this morning and then the radiation makes me tired as well. I have had 4 treatments so far which leaves 11 to go.

Arthur Schuer, 95, passed away at Lisbon at the ND Veterans Home. He was born in Ryder on June 15, 1921 the son of Martin and Bertha (Weidger) .  Our sympathy to the family.

Starting March 8th, the new address of Don and Ardys Morris will be 3500  21st. St. SE, Mandan, ND 58554  Room # 207.  They love hearing from the old Ryder folks.

Jody and Peggy Reinisch made a quick trip to California to see her Mom’s Sister, Lillian Hand, who is now 96 and doing very well and also to see her son, Brian Hand.  Then to Las Vegas to visit with Sandi Namba, Peggy’s Cousin, and a few of her friends. What an AWESOME place to visit! They went to a Show by Reba & Brooks & Dunn which was FANTASTIC!
Penny (Reinisch) Carlson spent the weekend with Jody and Peggy Reinisch and they had a Birthday Party for Marlys Hanson who turned 83 on Sunday.  Larry Reinisch and family, Jody Reinisch and family, Penny Carlson and a few of Marlys and Wendell’s friends at Brentmoor all came for cake and coffee.  Kandi and LaVerne Mikkelson are still wintering in AZ.

Rod and Kathy (Kronbach) Kallestad of Garrison traveled to Minot once and Burlington once in the month of February to celebrate birthdays.  First, on February 18th, they joined all of the family at Planet Pizza in Minot to celebrate their granddaughter Lucy Eleanor Oberdick's 1st birthday that day.  Attached is picture of Kathy and Lucy, daughter of Wil and Cindy (Olson) Oberdick of Minot.
February 28th was Kathy's daughter Jenny (Blowers) Brossart's birthday and all of the family celebrated that at the Hacienda in Burlington.  Attached is a picture of Jenny of Minot and her nephew Henry Konrad Oberdick, son of Wil and Cindy (Olson) Oberdick of Minot.
