News for April 21, 2016
There will be a bridal
shower for Lindsey Hausauer, bride-to-be of Chase Karna on May 15th
at 2 p.m. at the Senior Center in Makoti.

Congratulations to
Kelly Schmidt and Terese Skjordal. They were married on March 22nd
of this year on Kaanapali Beach in Maui, Hawaii. They will make their home in
Kenmare where he works for Gooseneck Implement as a service clerk and she is a
5th grade teacher.
I received word from
Marlys Rodahl that DeLoris (Dolly) Fox Johnson passed away Feb. 18th
in Spokane, Washington at the age of 84. Her parents were Alma and Ira Fox. She
grew up in Ryder until the family moved to Minot in the 1940’s. She had 2
brothers, LeRoy and Gaylord, both deceased and a sister Sandra who lives in
Washington. She also has 2 daughters who live in Washington. Our sympathy goes
out to the family.
Mark Guttormson sent me
the following message on the Ryder News website. “Thank you Sue for doing this.
I can't help but smile, as I see those familiar names and pictures you post. You
are appreciated!”
We found out Saturday
that my younger cousin Darren Beal from Washington was killed in a car accident
Friday night. His parents were Hobart and Ellen (Baldwin) Beal, both deceased.
He has 1 brother, Brian in California and 2 sisters, Sandra Holland and Cheryl
Beal both of Washington.
