Ryder
News for May 7, 2015
Ruth Wurtz had a long weekend on April 1st.
Gordy and Mary Wurtz, their daughter Emily with hubby Michael Hegg and 7 month
old Ryder came to Ryder to visit Grandma Ruth. Ryder had his picture taken with
the Ryder sign by town. Also visiting on the weekend were Doug Wurtz, Denise
and Harvey (Bub) Johnson. Bryan and Penny Wurtz also came to visit. This sounds
like it was a fun and busy weekend.
Grace Magandy had some surprise visitors at
her home this past Sunday morning when she arrived home from church in Douglas.
Her daughter Barbara Power from Logan, ND came to visit and brought along
Grace’s granddaughter, Terri Roll and great granddaughter Elora Roll from
Aberdeen, SD.
There was a large turnout of ladies for St.
John’s annual Mother/Daughter luncheon this past Sunday. There were lots of
delicious salads and I am sure everyone had enough to eat. Marci Narum was the guest speaker.
The Makoti Senior Citizens' Center will have a "Surprise Founding
Farmer's Supper" on Wed, May 13 at 6:00. All food has been arranged,
and all area seniors are welcome to attend. Come join us for a special
