Ryder
News for Feb. 26, 2015
I have a couple guesses on the mystery
photo. Keith Kronbach said he would be a poor relative if he didn’t identify
his family. They are from left to right: Elinor West, Kathy Kronbach Kallestad,
and Grandma Martha Kronbach. Sonja Kline also guessed they were Kronbachs.
On Sunday Feb. 15th, Kenny and I
along with Don and Elaine Alderman, Tony Petersen, Cash and Skylar attended a
belated birthday party for Johnny McGrath who had turned 6 on Jan. 12th.
Kenny and I attended the Medical Benefit at
the Ryder Gym Sunday morning. The Old Ryder Jaycees served pancakes, biscuits
and gravy, sausage, coffee and juice. There was a fair turnout of people to
support this cause. I do have a few pictures to share of some of the cooks. I
didn’t get all of them as Jon Hanson was hiding behind a door and Gaylen Larson
was trying to hide with him. Little do they know that I will get them at some
other time.

St. John’s Lutheran Church services will be
held at 8:00 a.m. for the month of March.
Remember the first Friday of every month is
Bingo Night at the Ryder Gym and…March 6th is the first Friday so let’s all
gather at the gym for several rousing games of bingo and see if we can win the
jackpot! Remember this is sponsored by the Ryder Community Club to raise money
to keep the gym in operation for area functions.
Well there sure wasn’t much news for this
week and I don’t know if I will have any for the next week or so. I am going to
Mayo Clinic but don’t have a date and time yet so will continue to do the news
as long as I am home and able to do it.
Have a great week and remember, SPRING is
just around the corner.
