Yay,
I have a deer picture!! Ana Mart, daughter of Scott and Kari Mart of LaMoure and
granddaughter of Ron and Muriel Peterson got her deer! It was a 5 point buck
and she shot it west of LaMoure. This was her very first time of hunting and
also her first shot out of the deer rifle. Lucky kid!!
Jody, Peggy and Josh Reinisch were guests
of Alex and Kelsey DesRoches on their 1st Thanksgiving. Other guests were Lorn
and Corrina DesRoches, Alex’s Grampa and two Grammas, Jerome Harstad and Adam
DesRoches. What a fun day they all had!!
There
will be a benefit for Brian and Roxanne Smith on Dec. 20th at the
Senior Center in Makoti. They lost their home and all their belongings in a
house fire on Nov. 24th. The silent auction will begin at 3:30 p.m.
Some pretty amazing items have been donated for the auction by businesses and
individuals. Myers Meats and Specialties is providing the dinner that starts at
5:00 p.m. An account has also been set up for them at First Western Bank in
Minot under the name of Brian and Roxanne Smith. All proceeds go to help Brian

LeRoy and Sandra Peterson celebrated their 50th
wedding anniversary on Friday with a family supper in Bismarck. Attending were
Dave and Cindy Peterson of Minot; Deanna, Bob, Blake and Marshall Reikow;
Carolyn, Kevin, Megan and Jimmy Munns of Bismarck.
Leroy and Sandra spent the week before in
Dallas at the wedding of their niece Jenny Morris and Jimmy Andrews. Jenny is
the daughter of Steve and Marge Morris. Most all of the Gurholts and Morris’s
attended. A great time was had by all!
Lorraine Nelson, Jim and Doris Ann Zieman,
and Ken and Sue Bradley were luncheon guests at the home of Don and Karen
Bradley on Sunday afternoon.
Visiting with Ron and Muriel Peterson for
Thanksgiving were Rondi and Steve Deaver and boys from Minot; Kari and Scott Mart
and kids from LaMoure; and Mildred Peterson from Minot.
Mildred Peterson celebrated her 95th
birthday on Saturday, Nov. 28th with a party at Brentmoor. After the
party, Bruce Peterson and family and Ron Peterson and family along with Mildred
all had supper at Rondi Deaver’s.

12:00 with benefit dinner to raise money to insulate food pantry room; 1:30 p.m.
kids Christmas movie; 2:30 p.m. Santa arrives; 3:00 p.m. turkey drawing.
Dec. 20: Benefit for Brian and Roxanne Smith
at the Senior Center in Makoti starting at 3:30 p.m.
